We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented professional (m/f) with a sound knowledge of biostatistics and/or bioinformatics to strengthen the discovery statistics team. By developing experimental designs, executing data analyses and reporting and presenting of results for a variety of discovery research models (in vitro, in vivo research experiments), the successful candidate will actively and directly contribute to high-quality research in the neuroscience drug discovery area, in close partnership with the discovery research teams. The candidate will closely collaborate with a senior lead statistician and with external statistical contractors. He/she will play a crucial role in bridging the gap from pre-clinical experiments to first-in-human trials.

Qualifications:
PhD degree in Bioinformatics or Biostatistics, or Master degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or related field plus 3 years minimum relevant experience.
Proficient in R (and SAS) programming
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Language skills: fluent English, oral and in written
