The Medical Devices segment produces a broad range of innovative products
used primarily by health care professionals in the fields of orthopaedics,
neurovascular, surgery, vision care, diabetes care, infection prevention,
cardiovascular disease, sports medicine, and aesthetics. This segment is
comprised of our Global Medical Solutions, Global Orthopaedics and Global
Surgery Groups.

The responsibility of a Sales
representative is to sell and promote Johnson & Johnson products and
develop its business with the existing key customers and with newly-acquired
customers within the indicated territory.
- Achieving expected business results within the managed territory
- Sell J&J Ethicon products and services to achieve volumes specified in Sales Representative Sales Plan
- Watch and report on actions taken by competitors, in particular with respect to key customers
- Possess and improve knowledge about competitive products
- Visit customers in order to keep them informed about the current product line, present new products and ensure the closure of sales cycles
- Identify tenders announced in the territory and prepare offers for tenders
- Build and maintain close and professional contacts with all customer groups
- Create and participate in customer training process
- Regularly conduct training and seminars for customers (product users) with respect to product indications, contraindications and the manner of administration
- Participate in medical procedures with the use of J&J products as technical support for customers
- Be familiar with the existing and newly-launched medical products and procedures; with valuation of medical procedures and expertise required to present the correct application of products; with adequate specialist medical literature
- University degree (Economic/Business/Pharma/Medical preferably)
- Sound commercial knowledge and experience matched with sense of urgency
- Preferably 2 years of sales experience (Pharmaceutical/Medical Device experience would be considered as an advantage), but not a must
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build professional credibility and respect with business partners
- Very good communication, selling and presentation skills
- Computer skills (MS office)
- Self-starter, innovative, independent, flexible
- High ethical standards, adaptable, curious, entrepreneurial
- Driving license
- Native level of Estonian, fluent in English
