Major Responsibilities
Governance and Effective Communications
§ Supports JRO Head in facilitation and management of
MC, including supporting presenters/teams in preparation for their discussions
with MC, and following up on action items
§ Supports data gathering and content development for MC
presentations to Regional and Global leadership
§ Collaborates with Communications and Public Affairs to
prepare monthly HAYABUSA Way management messages highlighting key successes,
challenges and forward-looking opportunities for Janssen Japan
Company-wide G&Os
§ Supports
the annual G&O-setting workshop and action item follow-ups to deliver the
following year’s G&Os in time for the Company Kick-Off Meeting (KOM)
§ Gathers
input from key stakeholders on core KPIs to measure progress against the
Company G&Os
§ Tracks Company G&O KPIs, including supporting KPI owners
to update their progress, and analyzing monthly input to deliver key takeaways
to Strategy MC (SMC)
Annual Business Planning
§ Manages the Integrated Strategy Discussion (ISD: LRFP plus total portfolio prioritization) and
annual Business Plan (BP) with a team of cross-functional colleagues,
particularly Finance, the Business Units, Medical Affairs, New Product
Planning, R&D and Commercial Excellence
Company Initiatives
- Supports Janssen Japan initiatives determined to be business-critical and that are cross-functional in nature, such as the roll-out of Design Thinking throughout the organization, adoption of Real World Evidence (RWE) and Patient Access strategies, and Leadership Training for the cross-functional Japan Compound Teams (JCoTs) and Japan Therapeutic Area Strategy Teams (JTASTes)
Position
Qualifications
§ Experience
in leading a multi-disciplinary team in the analysis and synthesis of complex
data, including financial and operational data and metrics
§ Ability
to translate data into information and strategies into executable action plans,
including developing metrics and tracking status and deliverables
§ Positive
track record of leadership to drive disparate groups to overcome challenging
obstacles
§ Effective
communicator adept at cross-cultural understanding and deeply experienced in the
Japan environment
§ Minimum
of 5 years of progressive business experience
§ Consulting
experience, MBA or other advanced degree desirable
§ Fluent
in English, native/fluent in Japanese
§ Located in Tokyo, Japan
